When I finally made my way to the stationary section, lo and behold, planners galore!! All sort of planners. Wanted to get a nice but afforable one like Shu Hui who bought hers last year (about NT70). But 诚品 being 诚品had nice expensive planners. I was prepared to pay the price of NT400++ but to my suprise there was a 50% discount. Whoo hooo ... Too bad its made in Japan so it doesnt have the map for Taiwan's metro system. (This morning when we went to the bookshop outside school I saw loads of Diaries like Shu Hui's!!! But oh well...) For the record, Yinxiu, I spend abt an hour choosing. At least its shorter than the last time we spent the whole afternoon.
I settled on a pink diary with a white cute seal character plastered all over it. Original price NT405. Final price: NT203. :) Yesh!!!
Anw think I've been spending quite a sum on travelling this past week. Had to top up my card. Still feels weird to count in the Taiwanese currency. Makes me feel like I'm spending a bomb.
Currently I've settled 2 courses I wanna take. One is production management ( the teacher rocks, he allows us to write the report in english), another is Still Photography. We weren't suppose to get Photog class, but guess its fate coz there were 3 places left. So our dear senior Liu Yun was kind enough to tell the teacher about us. (We left to see the school doctor) Thank goodness if not I can't imagine all the ppl staring daggers and cursing us in their heads.
I'm not sure what other lessons I'll take. Think Basic Media Writing in Chinese is more or less settled. Not sure about the rest. In a dilemma... I'm left with either Japanese Society (trying out later in the afternoon), English News Translation, Sub Editing and BJ. I guess all will work out in the end.
Hope my flu gets better. It's no fun being sick in this freezing weather. How do I fix my tagboard, anyone knows???
